On March 1, Dr. Huang from Wuhan Central Hospital sadly said to Jinde Charities: “Today, another one doctor, Jiang xueqing, was sacrificed. He was the director of our department of primary breast surgery, even he was treated with ECMO for 30 days. His death was a great loss to our hospital!”

Wuhan Central Hospital has Houhu Area and Nanjing Road Area. These two large areas is for the outpatient service. It is also the nearest General Hospital to the seafood market in south China. A large number of patients with fever went to the hospital for treatment at the beginning of the epidemic. Causes the medical care in the early stage does not know the situation being highly occupational exposure, Dr. Li Wenliang also worked at ophthalmology of this hospital.

During the anti-epidemic period, Jinde Charities, on behalf of the religious leaders and friends from all society, have donated isolation clothing, N95 masks. Dr. Huang said, "There are many support teams from all over the country in Houhu Hospital area. Now the supplies are much better than before, but the consumption is too large. The N95 masks you sent are in good quality, and feel convenient with hooks.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, the Third Hospital of Wuhan special for fever patients, has 15 units, and Dr. Chen Zhen in the fourth unit expressed sincere thanks to the people who supported with prevention materials through Jinde Charities:“Thank you all for helping me and my colleagues through the toughest times!” In the early days of the outbreak, medical respirators were in short supply, and many doctors sought some by themselves: “We have no beauty clothes and strong horse, only involving with sweat, tears, blood and being loyalty. I have made up my mind that even if the level of protection is lowered further, I will not hesitate to rush forward as long as the epidemic requires. I don't want to be a hero at all, but just to honor my loyalty to White Coat.” Dr. Chen's wife worried about him as he was in front-line, then she made an urgent appeal in the circle of friends. Seeing her message, Jinde Charities immediately sent KOLMI FFP1/ IIR masks donated by the Nanhuairen Foundation in Leuven, Belgium. At the same time, Jinde Charities also donated ventilator and isolation clothing to the Wuhan Third Hospital. Doctors said that the supplies are timely and the ventilator is very effective for the treatment of seriously patients.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, Jinde Charities was entrusted by "one group at a time" to support non-invasive ventilator, intelligent air disinfection machine, medical goggles, KN95 masks, N95 masks and other supplies to Tongcheng County People's Hospital. Dr. Hu said excitedly: “On behalf of our hospital, I would like to express our most sincere thanks to the friends and donors from all society through Jinde Charities. The first five air sterilizers you donated are really precious! At that time, the whole Hubei Province could not buy one, the first supplies to Wuhan, I personally drove these precious supplies back to the hospital. Our hospital is the designated hospital for the prevention and treatment of new crown pneumonia in Tongcheng county, with a total of eight infected areas and one seriously infected area. Later, the isolation clothes and goggles you donated were also in high quality, and the Dean personally held a meeting to instruct only the first-line medical staff to use them. A total of 54 confirmed cases were admitted to our hospital, but many people were suspected and received medical isolation observers in the anti-epidemic process. With the help of people from all society, the epidemic situation in Tongcheng county is getting better and better. Thank you again!

Dr. Du is moved by the solidarity of Chinese catholic clergy to support the epidemic in Hubei Province, and he generously donated 1,000 yuan through Jinde Charities. He said: "Jinde Charities has given us several batches of urgently needed supplies, and other Catholic groups have also donated generously. Sr. Lei Lujia and the local church community have always been unafraid of difficulties to care about our needs, which makes me feel that you are really doing something, which I am very touched and very admire."

In the early stage of the outbreak of new crown pneumonia, except Wuhan, Xiangyang was listed as the worst-affected area for several times. During the Spring Festival, Fr. Liu Yanqiang from Xiangfan Diocese was out of town and concerned about the epidemic. He contacted Dr. Tan Lin, a member of the department of gastroenterology who worked in the First People Hospital of Xiangyang. He learned that there were many confirmed cases in the hospital and the lack of medical protection materials. The ceremony was witnessed by Fr. Chen Jianqing, rector of Catholic Xiangfan Diocese, and Lian Kai, President of Xiangyang First People Hospital. "The material donations from the solidarity of Chinese catholic clergy are timely, and the leaders of our hospital are also very moved. I always thought that as a member, I should do more for the Church. I did not expect the Church to help me and the hospital so much, I am very touched and very proud!" Dr. Tan Lin was transferred to the frontline during the epidemic and has been transferred back to the department. This experience made him deeply feel the close connection between the church and the society, and also made him have a deeper understanding of the spirit of saving the wounded and saving the dying.

Dr. Wu Min: Our hospital is one of the hospitals around Wuhan. Most of the nearly 500 cases confirmed in Tianmen were admitted to our hospital. In order to fight against the epidemic, our hospital shut down all the departments, the hospital focused on the treatment of new crown pneumonia patients. Therefore, the demand for materials is very large. The materials donated by Jinde are just what we need. We cherish them very much and use them on the medical staff according to different positions. Thank you for your help!
