Since theoutbreak of novel corona-virus pneumonia in Wuhan, China, China hasbeenadopting strict prevention and control measures, and front-line medical workers have beenfighting without fear of sacrifice. Currently, the epidemic situation has been effectively controlled in China andthe protecting materials in hospitals gradually have a steady supply. But unfortunately, alarming newsfrom abroad is coming one after another: in Italy, South Korea, Iran and other areas, the epidemic situations have been deteriorating and showing a spreading trend. Today (March 11)，the WHO made a further announcement, that the corona epidemic could possibly develop into a pandemic.

Far distance cannot separate us, and we all live in a united world. When Wuhan was in emergency, we had received loving donations from around the world. Currently, there are still many countries lacking protective supplies,and we should lend a helping hand.

The epidemic situations in South Korea and Italy are emergency. In addition to the Chinese Catholics, some overseas student associations in Italy and South Korea, Chinese Christians at home and abroad also have paid attention at the same time, and expressed their support to South Korea and Italy to fight the epidemic through Jinde Charities.

After learning about the urgent need of medical protective materials in Daegu Garrett Hospital in South Korea, the churches across China joined hands withfriends from society at large and Jinde Charities to send a batch of medical protective materials worth about 2 million yuan to South Korea to help Daegu, the hardest-hit area in this country. Meanwhile, with the intensification of the epidemic, our Italian friends, including the clergy of all levels and the general faithful, are also in urgent need of protective supplies.

Humans live in the same global village, and the future and fate of each country and nation are closely linked. Fighting the epidemic is also a community of shared future for mankind. Now that the epidemic is spreading, if the situation in the worst-hit areas such as Italy and South Korea are not effectively controlled, the human family will inevitably suffer more.
